POOL NEWS

            General repairs have been done in and around the pool this spring in preparation for opening:   concrete work & resetting of pool area entry steps as well as replacement of pool tiles are all crucial details that have been taken care of by Toni Buono.   Toni has also taken it upon herself to personally do some much-needed painting:   doors to both the locker room & pump room, lattice panels, benches and picnic tables - including sanding.   Lastly, Toni has just announced that the new chaise lounges have arrived.    See you all soon!

Pool Guest Policy

Guests are welcome at the pool, but are limited to four times per month for any one guest.   Fees are $12 for adults and $8 for children 15 years and under.   Members must sign-in with the lifeguard upon arrival and must include names of any guests.   (Make sure to note whether adult or child.)   A full listing of Pool Rules will be sent in the next few weeks by e-mail .   Please take the time to review them.  

Pre-Season Preps

Your pool committee is busy with pre-season preparations.   Toni Buono has been seen poolside pumping out the winter rainwater & checking for any weather-related damage.   She has also arranged for some concrete repairs on the pool deck and entrance steps.   We thank her for her diligence. Of course, Memorial Day and our pool season are right around the corner too!

THE POOL AT THE RACQUET CLUB

 

Our pool area has gotten a facelift this spring with a fresh coat of paint on the balcony & fencing.   Our children's sprinkler pool is has a coating of Pebble Flex for safety.   This is a synthetic material that is becoming commonly used in playgrounds, water parks, and other areas where kids do more falling down!   We hope our little ones (and their moms & dads) will enjoy the softer, safer footing they will receive.

 

Our Pool Committee and lifeguards look forward to a warm, relaxing summer!

POOL RULES REMINDER

 

Many members are unfamiliar with our Pool Rules, Guest Fees & Guesting Policy.   A brief mention is being given here.

•  Lifeguards have full authority to enforce rules and suspend privileges of anyone whose conduct is considered detrimental to the safety of others.

•  GUESTS:   Guests are welcome, but are limited to four times per month for any one guest.   Fees are $12 for adults and $8 for children 15 years and under.   Members must sign-in with the lifeguard upon arrival and must include names of any guests.   (Make sure to note whether adult or child.)  

•  All children under 8 must be accompanied & supervised by an adult.   All children 8-12 years of age must have a designated adult guardian on the premises.  

•  All members, including children, must wear an appropriate cover-up and footwear when leaving the pool area, for their own protection.

The Park Hill Racquet Club's Pool is a truly family friendly way to cool off when it's hot outside:  our sparkling pool, kids' sprinkler pool, and bi-level sundecks surrounded by the woods.  The Club has full locker and shower facilities.   Swimming lessons are available from our certified guards.    Pool parties for kids.
