Men's Singles Tournament

The rain gods were good to our little corner of Park Hill; despite torrential rain in towns all around, not a drop fell on the courts the night before our Competitive Men’s Singles Tournament!  Since it was incredibly hot and humid and the guys looked exhausted, our finalists Joe Harbeson and Mike Smith will play their final match at another time. They both looked like they might get heat stroke if they tried to play more!  Only the men’s side of the tournament was held; due to other commitments many women were not able to sign up.  We plan to advertise another date and try one more time for the women.  Our thanks go to Patty Cecere for organizing the day.
