Bowling Teams 2011-2012 Season

We are very excited about our bowling league this year.  With several people wanting ‘in’, our Bowling Chairman, Jon Wallen, had a bit of a dilemma to solve (a good one)!  The captains discussed the situation and decided that with 20 bowlers instead of 16, there are now five teams that share a 25 week season.  .  This format gives bowlers an opportunity to take a break from the weekly routine every 5th week.  With the next-highest average, Deane Prouty has joined the ranks of our team captains.  Bowlerina (aka Karen Lorence) has been charged with assigning new team names, to be announced soon.  Everyone is looking forward to November 1st when the season officially begins.  Remember that the Members’ Lounge is open every Tuesday from 7 PM throughout the winter.  You don’t have to be a bowler to stop by.
